The wildly popular family experience gives guests an opportunity to visit a whimsical winter wonderland of interactive environments and larger-than-life, three-dimensional holiday scenes and sculptures, all hand-carved from ice.
The attraction, which is presented by Coca-Cola and co-sponsored by Nissan and Sarah Lee, combines fantastic frozen creations, thrilling ice slides, dramatic lighting and special effects.
The enormous structure used to house ICE! is cooled to a chilly 9 degrees.
To stay comfortable inside the attraction, visitors are given oversized winter coats to wear.

"Not only is the artistry amazing to enjoy, but the brisk environment inside the attraction creates a winter holiday experience like no other in the Sunshine State rosy cheeks and all!" said Kemp Gallineau, general manager of Gaylord Palms. This year, ICE! features several new or revised scenes, including a holiday train and depot that guests can "climb aboard" to explore.
In response to guest feedback, some elements will return for an "encore," including a breathtaking life-size nativity carved completely of crystal-clear ice.
A guest favorite -- three fantastic ice slides --
will return amid a towering Christmas Castle. The attraction is carved by a team of 40 artisans from Harbin, China.
The talented artisans spend nearly an entire month in Kissimmee creating this one-of-a-kind attraction.

Harbin is best known for its annual International Ice and Snow Festival.
Each year more than 2,000 sculptors carve a 100-acre walk-through Ice Park from blocks of ice taken from the Songhua River.
Produced exclusively for Gaylord Hotels, the artisans work appeared for the first time in the United States in 2001, when a similar attraction debuted at Gaylord Opryland Resorts "A Country Christmas" celebration in Nashville.
The project expanded in 2003 to include ICE! at Gaylord Palms, and in 2005 to include ICE! at Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas, located in Dallas/Fort Worth. Since its inception, this unique attraction has garnered national recognition from USA Today, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Southern Living magazine, and Travel + Leisure magazine.

ICE! tickets range from 9.99 - 24.99, depending on the type of ticket, and day of the week.

Rooms To Go signs on with My Cruise Club to provide their employees with a free, branded, private label cruise discount website.

(ContentDesk) July 12, 2004 -- Rooms to Go has become the first major employer to sign on to this new employee benefit for their 5,000 + employees. Companies with more than 500 employees can now receive a custom, private label cruise travel booking website to allow their employees to book cruise travel at substantial savings. There is no cost to the company and the rates quoted on the employee only cruise travel site are guaranteed to be less than any cruise line directly and less than Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz and Yahoo. This is a benefit that employees can enjoy now. A young staff may be less interested in retirement plans than it is in saving money on their next Christmas vacation.

Companies can simply add a link to their intranet to allow the employee to access the unique cruise booking website set up for that company. The employee would be able to search for and book a cruise on any cruise line at a substantial discount. In contrast with complicated and costly point-based...

Santa Claus to Protect Children Worldwide

It was reported from Santa's Workshop at the North Pole today that Santa has assigned his top Technology Elves to work double-time to create "Santa Surfer", the worlds first Internet Santa Safety Browser for kids.
In an effort to meet the Christmas 2004 deadline the North Pole contracted with Children's Educational Network to create the safest, most educational kids' browser ever created!
This new browser will bear the name of Santa himself and will prevent children from accidentally coming across potentially dangerous sites while surfing the Internet."Since the government did not pass the Child Online Protection Act this year, I knew we had to do something about this" said Santa from his offices at the North Pole. "It's just too important of an issue and I knew that with some teamwork and some vision we could provide free Internet safety to children all over the world.
Children should be able to experience the wonders of the web without compromising their...
